The simple tool, shown below, has a short arm used to pull the gutter over. The small upturned end of the arm is used to push the gutter upright again!

Gravity does all the work. Sometimes leaves left too long in the gutter become sticky debris that can cling in places. The hook tool works well in dislodging such debris.

Some people have found that a garden hose works really well in washing out their inverted gutter.
